Stephen BarclayPhysiotherapistStephen grew up in Kimberley, BC, and moved to Vancouver to complete his Bachelor of Science in Biology (1996) and his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (2001). In 2005, he achieved the internationally recognized designation of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT). Further postgraduate training has also certified him to practise medical acupuncture and intramuscular stimulation (IMS). He is an instructor for the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy and mentors physiotherapists in preparation for their intermediate and advanced orthopaedic exams. The assessment and treatment of knee injuries remains his special passion. Stephen was chosen as a Therapist for Athlete Care at the 2010 Winter Olympics, and he has been the designated physiotherapist for various sports teams, including SFU Rugby, Burnaby Lakers Lacrosse and World Ultimate Frisbee. Recreationally, Stephen has fun running, skiing, playing golf, squash and tennis.

Kaylie ZhouClinic ManagerKaylie grew up in Vancouver, BC and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Education & Human Development) at Simon Fraser University. She has a passion for helping others enhance their mental well-being and personal growth. Kaylie has lived abroad working as an elementary school english teacher in rural South Korea, has volunteered for various mental health organizations, and has worked with children with special needs. In her spare time, Kaylie can be found restaurant hopping or at her local yoga studio.

Tae YoonPhysiotherapistTae received his undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics (2009) and his Masters of Physical Therapy (2011) at the University of British Columbia. Since graduation, he has completed numerous post-graduate courses. Tae is certified to perform medical acupuncture (CAFCI) and is a certified Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation Practitioner (CGIMS). As a manual therapist, he has achieved the internationally recognized designation of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT). He is also an assistant-instructor for the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Orthopaedic Division. Tae has taken vestibular rehabilitation courses which include the following: Vestibular Rehabilitation: An Introduction to Assessment and Management; Vestibular Rehabilitation: Review and Advances; Vestibular Rehabilitation: A Competency-Base Course (Emory University) and Advances in Vestibular Rehabilitation: A Competency-Renewal Course (Duke University). Tae lives an active lifestyle and enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running marathons, and competing in triathlons. He also plays on multiple soccer and hockey teams.

Samantha SigurdsonKinesiologistSamantha graduated from the University of Fraser Valley in 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. During this time, she discovered a keen interest in recovery and active rehabilitation. She believes in teaching proper technique to maximize strength, mobility, flexibility, coordination and functional ability. She strongly believes the whole body works as a system so it can adapt to different scenarios in day-to-day life.
Since graduating, Samantha has gone on to receive certification in Fascial Stretch Therapy, Soft Tissue Release and Kinetic Link Training. She incorporates this post graduate course work into client rehabilitation when necessary. When not at work, Samantha lives a very active lifestyle between hot yoga, soccer or training for an upcoming half marathon. |
Hannah DixonMassage TherapistHannah is a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She has a strong passion for helping people return to and maintain optimal health. Hannah is very talented in the treatment of soft tissue Injuries and rehabilitation.
Hannah draws from a sports experience as she was a competitive track athlete and coach. Hannah is excited to play a invaluable role for Team Trinity. She is honoured to join the Brentwood/Burnaby community. |
Debbie ChauPhysiotherapistDebbie graduated from The University of British Columbia with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2011. She has dedicated her time to continuing education and professional development as a physical therapist. After extensive post-graduate training and mentorship, she received her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopaedic Division and the designation of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (FCAMPT).
Debbie is bilingual in English and Cantonese and enjoys working with people of all ages, and backgrounds. Debbie utilizes a multi-faceted approach when treating clients that consists of manual therapy, active rehabilitation, and client education to help her clients get back to their pre-injury function, whether it be return to work or doing the things that they love. Outside of work, Debbie is busy enjoying life as a new mom. In the remaining spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling, going for a run and playing recreational sports such as skiing and tennis. |
Jonathan YeungMassage TherapistJonathan is a talented therapist from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. In addition to being a registered massage therapist, Jonathan is also a kinesiologist with a Bachelors Degree of Kinesiology from UBC. Previously, Jonathan has worked as a personal trainer to help facilitate client health and wellness. He believes combining registered massage therapy with active rehabilitation is a wonderful way to achieve his client's goals.
Jonathan has a keen interest in working with a variety of orthopaedic conditions. He uses a combination of Swedish massage, trigger point release, active and passive stretching, and joint mobilizations. When Jonathan isn't working hard to provide the highest quality of care, you can find him running in his local neighbourhood, playing tennis and enjoying a good movie. |
Ryan DongMassage TherapistRyan believes massage therapy should be individualized to a client's preferences and needs. He uses myofascial techniques, Swedish massage, trigger point release, and PNF stretching to help achieve client goals. After each treatment, Ryan does his best to show stretches and exercises from client home management.
Ryan is an avid snowboarder and volleyball player. He has experienced several sport-related injuries which helps him better understand the importance of health and rehabilitation. This led him to study massage therapy at VCMT which exposed him to a wide variety of client conditions. Ryan has a strong motivation to help clients achieve their individual therapy goals. He looks forward to the opportunity to work with you. |
Maia TrotterAdministrative AssistantMaia grew up in Port Moody, BC and completed her Bachelor of Arts in English at Simon Fraser University. She is bilingual in English and French and is currently in the process of learning Dari. Maia has an interest in mental wellness, a holistic approach to overall health, and a passion for helping others.
She has volunteered with numerous organizations and schools that offer programs to improve the literacy and basic reading skills of children, and has spent some time in Guatemala volunteering at local community centres. In her spare time she enjoys getting outdoors for hikes, practicing yoga and meditation, and reading. |
Andy ChuPhysiotherapistAndy completed his Master of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. His treatment philosophy consists of utilizing a variety of manual therapy techniques, IMS/dry needling, patient education, and individualized exercises to tailor to each client’s needs. His approach is to empower patients to take an active role in their recovery process and help them achieve the results they want. As a life-long learner, with a passion and commitment to using evidence-based research in his practice, he is currently pursuing his Diploma in Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy.
Andy is extremely honored to impact the Burnaby community he grew up in. He is fluent in English, Cantonese, and has a working knowledge in Mandarin. Outside of the clinic, he believes in giving back to the community by volunteering at local sports events. He is also a huge Vancouver Canucks fan and enjoys playing sports recreationally such as tennis, soccer, golf, and basketball. |
Gurmeet DhillonPhysiotherapistGurmeet grew up in Edmonton and graduated with her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2017. Her passion for sport and exercise medicine brought her to Vancouver to complete a Sport Physiotherapy Fellowship at UBC where she had the opportunity to work closely with sport medicine physicians. Gurmeet has worked with UBC Rugby, BC Rugby and currently she is a contract therapist with Rugby Canada, having had the opportunity to tour with the U-18 men’s squad last year.
Gurmeet is pursuing her FCAMPT designation through the accelerated GCOMPT program at UBC. She is also in the process of completing her Sport Physiotherapy Canada Certificate. With a strong interest in research, her treatment style is informed by the latest evidence and is rooted in therapeutic exercise utilizing manual therapy and dry needling/IMS as an adjunct. Outside of the clinic, Gurmeet can be found playing tennis, hitting a spin class, running or perusing local café’s searching for the best cup of coffee. |
Jaewoong LeeMassage TherapistJae graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2014, with a degree in kinesiology. While working as a kinesiologist, Jae learned how massage therapy combines well with exercise prescription. This experience lead Jae to complete the RMT program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy.
Jae uses a combination of massage techniques including myofascial and trigger point release to offer the best care to his clients. Jae continues to provide great home exercises utilizing his kinesiology experience. Jae speaks fluent Korean and enjoys an active lifestyle. He is an avid soccer player and loves snowboarding. |
